UGL was recently included in the Australian SAM (Sustainable Asset Management) Sustainability Index (AuSSI) for 2009. SAM is a Swiss-based financial services group and publisher of indices focused exclusively on the integration of economic, environmental and social criteria into investing.

UGL is now among the 72 constituents in corporate Australia for which SAM analyses public information to assess sustainability leadership and devise a ranking. This is a positive step for UGL, demonstrating the progress the company is making on sustainability.
