CitySwitch Green Office is a national tenant energy management program run in partnership between capital city councils and state government departments. With a geographical location representing approximately 70% of Australia’s office space, the program works with tenants to achieve improved office energy efficiency. One of the main reasons for choosing this way to save energy is that tenants can influence up to 50% of the total energy use in office buildings.
As a CitySwitch signatory, UGL has reaffirmed the importance of the company’s commitment to reducing environmental impacts and improving operating efficiencies. The program will see UGL committing to improving office energy use as we work towards achieving and maintaining a 4 star plus accreditation with the NABERS Energy tenancy rating.
